Dream Big...Read!
Jeff has performed at libraries for over 21 years as part of the Summer Reading Program and he is looking forward to yet another year. This music program fits wonderfully with this years' theme, "Dream Big...Read!" During his music program, Jeff encourages children to read, read, read! He shares his experience of learning to make instruments by reading the Foxfire Book Series. Jeff's passion for music was inspired by reading books and researching the history of instrument making as well as the history of Appalachian mountain music. He attributes his desire to further his education in music to his experience of learning by reading books, articles and other resources. Jeff will be happy to mention any additional readings as suggested by your librarian.
